Talk to your school counselor

Because we care....

The school years will be some of the best years of your life. However, you will be faced with some important decisions and possibly, some difficult problems.

We want to share your good times and help you through the difficult ones. Come in and talk with us anytime. Together we can make your school years the best possible.

COUNSELING PHILOSOPHY

The philosophy of counseling at Pittsgrove Township Middle School is holistic in nature.  We are student-centered and interested in the academic, social and emotional growth of the children.  Counseling services are for all students, not a select or defined group.  Our belief is that our young people must learn that counselors are interested in them and available to them for very basic matters as well as for more serious concerns and decisions.  Our hope is to build an adequate adult-student rapport such that students will learn to seek the advice of parents, teachers, administrators or counselors when faced with critical decisions as they mature.  We care about your children and desire that their experience at Pittsgrove Township Middle School may be both academically and personally fulfilling.
