Aloha means goodbye in Hawaiian - but it also means hello.  So to all of my students, until next year, Aloha 'oe, A hui hou kakou!!!   (which means farewell to you, until we meet again.)

50%     Homework and participation/class work

30%     Tests

20%     Quiz

If you see "ab" for your student in Power School, that code means they were absent and I will enter a grade when the work is made up.  They are given a day for every day they were absent to make up their work.

If you see "tbd" for your student in Power School, that code means - to be determined.  I either have a question about the work, or the student hasn't finished their work and has been given additional time.

Class Rules and Procedures

Each student was given a list of class rules and procedures to have reviewed and signed by a parent.  I asked the students to keep them with them in their binders, just in case they need a reminder.

 - this web site will help you help your student with homework and gives examples of sample answers to a few ACE questions.  In addition, it will provide you with a basic background of what topics are covered in each connected math book.
